Terms and Conditions

Last updated 4 November 2026

These terms cover your use of Method Med at methodmed.netlify.app. By using the site you agree to them. If you have a question, email methodmedsupport@gmail.com.

1. What Method Med is

Method Med is an independent revision resource made by Leeds medics for students on the University of Leeds MBChB Year 1 course. It is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the University of Leeds. It does not replace your lectures, official materials, timetables or the advice of your tutors.

2. Accuracy

We work hard to keep content accurate, but mistakes can happen. Method Med is for revision only and is not medical advice. Always check against your official course materials. If you spot an error, please tell us so we can fix it.

3. Your account

4. Payment and access

5. Refunds

Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because full access starts as soon as you pay, you agree when you buy that access begins straight away, which means the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using the paid content. If something has gone wrong, for example you were charged twice or can't get access, email us within 14 days and we'll put it right or refund you. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

6. Fair use

You may use Method Med for your own personal study. You may not copy, scrape, resell, publish or share its questions, notes, videos or other content, or try to get around the paywall or device limit. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Your files

Files you open in the slides viewer stay on your own device. They are not uploaded to Method Med. You're responsible for having the right to use any files you open.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site running and up to date, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features and content. If we close Method Med for good while you have paid access remaining, we'll refund the unused part of your access.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your current access.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Significant changes will be shown in the hub.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
